There are 4 types of stress:
Acute stress

- It can be positive, as it helps us control dangerous situations or meet a deadline
Chronic stress
- This is stress that lasts for a long period of time, such as weeks or months
- It can cause health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart failure, diabetes, obesity, depression, or anxiety
Positive stress or eustress
- This is what motivates a person to achieve their goals and overcome challenges
- It increases energy and focus
Negative stress or distress
- This is when this condition exceeds a person's ability to cope
- It is related to exhaustion, anxiety, and chronic diseases
But we all wonder how to handle it and there are several ways.
How can I manage my stress?
Stay active, eat healthy, and maintain a sleep routine. Make time for yourself and do things you enjoy. Talk to friends and family. Seek help from a doctor or mental health professional if you find it difficult to manage stress on your own.
